From our base in Orpington, Kent, we offer a unique manufacture and supply service to a wide ranging clientele including sports organisations, clubs, societies, schools and universities, companies and local authorities.

We are one of the few remaining garment companies still actually manufacturing in the UK and we offer the complete in-house service for our customers from the initial design concept through to the finished garment including digital printed fabrics, screen printing and embroidery if required.

Although the manufacture of football and rugby kits form a large part of our business, we produce garments for all sporting activities, including cricket, boxing, netball, basketball gymnastics, swimming, athletics, bowls, lacrosse and many more. We offer the same service for school uniforms and company clothing. They can all be made to your own specifications.

History of Winston Sports

Winston Sports is a family run business and has been manufacturing clothing since 1978. Initially we produced denim jeans, children’s fashion clothing and school uniform / sportswear.

While schoolwear is still a very important part of our business, the fashion side has given way to the production of an every increasing range of bespoke sportswear, made to our customer’s specifications. As you know sportswear is fashion, changing continually with new designs, fabrics and performance enhancing ideas.

As the business grew it became obvious to us how important it is to have total control of all aspects of the manufacture, so with the exception of the weaving of the base fabrics, all the processes, from design to the finished product including printing and embroidery are completed in house.

Although Football and Rugby take up a large proportion of our output, we make garments for all sporting activities. Winston Sports offer you the opportunity to create your own unique clothing identity, be it for sporting activities, schoolwear or company image. We can turn your ideas into the finished product.

With the addition of new machinery for, embroidery, sceen printing and more recently wide format digital printing, we decided to increase our product range by offering our customers goods from leading brands, which could be customised by ourselves.

We have now been producing garments for 30 plus years and recently added 2 new trading names to form The Winston Sports Group. GRC Neckwear an old established (1956) tie and scarves manufacturer and Dance Craze supplier to dance and performing art schools
